Norfolk Island Tour – Celebrating Bounty Day with the locals

Join us on our Norfolk Island tour as we visit this delightful small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where you could be forgiven for thinking that time has almost stood still.

With an extremely tight-knit community where everyone looks out for everyone, the islanders of which many are direct descendants from The Bounty, have ensured that their heritage and culture have not been lost in modern day times.

While relying mostly on tourism for their economic survival, they use their culture and unique way of life as a feature to be showcased to the many visitors that come from afar to witness the breathtaking beauty found in the clean air and pristine environment of Norfolk Island.  From visiting local homes for tours and dinner to taking a glass-bottom boat cruise over the coral reef to learning about the local industries and enjoying the local catch for dinner on the cliffs, there is a new activity to be enjoyed every day of the week.

With plenty of downtime to wander the delightful main street, enjoy a coffee & cake, perhaps some retail therapy, or even an optional tour, you will find the perfect balance of organised activities spaced out with time to sit back and relax while you enjoy the stunning views… right from your very own room!

We’ll join the locals on the special day they put aside each year for the re-enactment and celebration of their highly honoured ancestors.  This will be a fun-filled day complete with copious amounts of delicious food and plenty of fun as we are entertained by one of Norfolk’s local gems. Each day will be a delight and a part of you will not want to make the journey home as you’ve fallen in love with this small piece of paradise in the Pacific.
